At our school we learn:

 

NIHONGO (JAPANESE)

We learn by listening, singing, acting, mimicking, and doing! We learn to speak, read and understand cultural differences and similarities. We learn to read at our own pace so that we all learn to read hiragana, but some of us can also read katakana and even kanji! We are very clever at learning Japanese and are really well prepared for secondary school. All students from Prep – Year 6 participate in Japanese every week with our specialist Japanese teacher in or Japanese Room.
