The Performing Arts is an important aspect of our school curriculum. Children are given the opportunity to express themselves through song, dance and drama during weekly Music lessons, dance programs, musical and cultural incursions and instrumental lessons.

 

Music is a specialist subject at LPS and every class attends every week in our dedicated Music room. Our program provides many aspects of the Performing Arts and students may be in the Choir or participate in Extension Group activities. All students in our school play an important part in our Biennial Musical Production.

 

At the end of each year a whole school Christmas performance is held with a family BBQ night. Our choir performs regularly at our assembly and out of school venues.

We also offer an Instrumental Program within the school which focuses on keyboard and guitar lessons
